Sarah Thorne is a freelance hair and make-up artist based in Maidenhead, Berkshire. Areas Sarah travels to are Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire and London.

Trained at Brushstroke, Shepperton Film Studios in all aspects of hair and make-up from beauty, bridal, special FX, airbrushing, wigs, editorial, prosthetics, TV and film. Sarah has worked in the industry since 2008.

Sarah’s biggest job to date is The X Factor with One Direction, JLS and Little Mix. She has also worked with McFly and The Saturdays. Please see CV for more of her work.

Sarah set up Thorne Brides to provide a special tailor-made hair and makeup service for all you Brides to be. 

A trial should be booked 6-8 weeks before the wedding day. During your trial session time will be spent discussing your plans for the big day including any themes, colour palettes, hair accessories and requirements for your bridal party. If you have a large wedding party additional assistance can be booked. 

Sarah uses high quality brands in her kit such as Benefit, Bobbi Brown, Chanel, Charlotte Tilbury, Delilah, MAC, Nars, Natasha Denona, Laura Mercier, Urban Decay, Estee Lauder and many more which are long lasting and give a flawless finish.

Sarah also provides hair and make-up for special occasions and one to one make-up lessons.
